Open Data

The project is based on the semestre theme 'nothing to hide'. The topic we wanted to have a closer approach to was the vast variety of different data on the internet. It has been our will to make users aware of how easily personal data and information are stored and used involuntary in the internet.

Our project is intended to represent the variety of data storage in the use of various services in the internet. In addition, the often easy accessibility and the associated further use of the data should be made clear.

The project was visually implemented by 'Projection mapping'. By using the program 'Millumin' we composed a larger piece of the video and clipped diverse small animations and projected objects onto the surfaces. The recorded areas represent real objects in an abstract form. This produced a fusion of the real and digital world.
