Sensed: Der Stuhl und die Lampe

The idea behind the project 'Sensed' is to interpret unconscious awarenesses and to design these. 'Sensed' leads the user to draw attention to his seating position, so that the user can correct his position unconsciously. Comparable to our project is the process with the effect of mirror neurons. The lamp mimics the user‘s seating position. The user can correct it by changing his body into a upright carriage.

For us it was important that the object has a low abusive-character and the user does not get imposed to get into a better seating position. In addition, both the lamp and the chair should not attract attention and we designed as sober as possible. The design of the lamp is correspondingly simple and minimalistic.
